The Bobobie 60cm Male body (with Apollo Head)
Xposted from some ancient DOA thread i did.
I did not color correct any of these. Sorry they are so off color. It was indoors at night. ):
BBB Apollo stood like a rock right from the box. After I decided to tighten his stringing, he did not stand any better. in fact he was more likely to topple. low-temp hot glue suede all joints -except- the hip sockets and the top leg sockets. those hip balls are crucial to his standing with stability.
hopefully they help someone decide if a Bobobie boy body is for them. : )
3 full body shots. Bobobie 60 CM boy "Apollo".

Elbow and Hip joints can be turned so that the gap for elastic does not show. in a wired doll, this probably wouldn't affect posing.

close up of hands

Feet!

three part torso.

Backside. Note locking knee joint backs.

Sitting "cute" or "Swarrico". Note the slump of the middle torso piece into the hip. this is pretty much how the boy body can sit. he must slump to sit steadily without falling backwards.

Kneeling. Hind does not sit directly onto legs. but he is remarkably steady this way!

JOINTS of note:
Locking shoulder joint. this keeps his arms oustretched (but not, say, up over the head)

Elbow joint. Also note smooth 3 part Torso joint joining.

the knee joint. the tabs on each end help lock the knees into standing position. they unpop easily for sitting.

thick neck is thick.

Body shot without head (a little closer than the first ones, and without flash. the arms have some muscle, and the knees are defined but not overly so.

Hope this helps out some people looking to see the whole Bobobie 60cm Male body!

Thank you for these very clear pics. I have to say, I thought that some of the shots I've seen of Apollo looked off. As if his head is far too big for his body.
I can see from these pictures that I was wrong. This makes me really consider saving up and taking that plunge into the bigger boy collecting.
